Der Amerikaner Jimmy Cobb erbeutet eine Million Dollar und flieht nach Frankreich. Die Polizei und Mitglieder einer kriminellen Organisation verfolgen ihn. Cobb vergräbt das Geld auf dem Grundstück einer Farm. Die Familie, der die Farm gehört, versucht, das Geld an sich zu nehmen. Dabei sterben zahlreiche Familienmitglieder.
