Damned If You Do (2004)
Summary
Sister Augustine , a nun, arrives at the hospital with her hands covered in rash, but House quickly dismisses the case after treating with antihistamines, suspecting an allergic reaction, to dish soap. However, she has an asthma attack and House administers epinephrine, causing her heartbeat to increase. House's team suspects that House made a mistake, but when they try to find the source of her problems, she suffers convulsions and a rash appears on her leg. Cuddy pulls House off of the case when she hears of House's methodology. An investigation of the convent reveals figwort tea, which caused the reaction with the epinephrine, but the Sister's original symptoms are still unexplained. When she is placed in a hypoallergenic room and still has an allergic reaction, but her shouts that she has God inside her allow House to find a copper IUD inside Sister Augustine's uterus, which she is allergic to. The device is surgically removed and she fully recovers.
